11/3/2017 Bowie vs. Akins - Next To Last Day of Marching Season
On this next-to-last day of Marching Season, I rededicated myself to not seeing the OPE as a group, but as a set of individuals working together toward a common goal. So, join me in celebrating another season almost past, and the individuals who make this OPE the wondrous thing it is.
There are lots of ways to view these photos whether you're on a computer or a mobile device. There's a free mobile app you can download from your app store called Smugmug. They are my web host, so it's really killer, and half the other band photographers (Mike Anderson and Phil Seidel for sure) are hosted by Smugmug.com as well, so it's worth the download space on your device.
If you're smart, you'll view these images on the bigger screen your computer provides you. These images scale all the way beyond 4K/UHD resolution, so go for it! At the upper right of the first image on each page of each gallery you can hit the Slideshow doohickey that looks just like a Play-arrow on YouTube, and the entire gallery will run itself from start to finish, and when you want to backup to reexamine a photo, just use the arrow keys to advance backwards and forwards in the slideshow. If you're more hands-on, then click an image and then just use the arrow keys to advance through the gallery. I've rigged it so that the images will scale to whatever screen resolution you are viewing on! If you just scroll down the pages the images are shrunk up a bit for some reason I can't figure out. I guess because of all the little feature icons that are all around the images which I'll leave to you to experiment with. Comments are always appreciated unless they are unkind, because it could have been expressed as constructive criticism.
You may freely download these images. You're welcome.
If you want a print, and you don't really have a photograph until you have a print of it, email me the image filename that's right under each image. I dare you to order a print size I can't print. And I won't gouge you either. I'm just looking for cost recovery for the print and some gas money to get the thing to you. Again, you're welcome.
