Here's a more lightly edited version of the same original image that I used in the next two images. In this image I enhanced the irises and lips with less saturation of the colors; I removed blemishes/bags-under-eyes (I never publish zits!); I changed exposure and contrast slightly; I used no smoothing of the skin, so pores/wrinkles are all still there, except under the eyes. When I removed the bags, the smile-lines went with them. Bummer, eh?
This is a highly edited image: Iris enhanced, blemishes removed, dark circles under the eyes removed, skin smoothed, lips enhanced similarly to the eyes. All the edits are using presets in the software. Tastes differ, but I think the presets are tuned a little too strong. The adjustments in the presets are really very slight, but they are still too strong. You would be surprised just how subtle the editing is, and it still comes out looking plasticky. We as humans are incredibly sensitive to subtlest of changes.
